Panoramic city tour

During this tour we will show you the most interesting sightseeings of the Ukrainian capital, its historical monuments and beautiful cathedrals. Panoramic city tour includes Golden Gate, St. Vladimir Cathedral, Sophiiska and Mykhailivska Squares, St. Michael's Cathedral, St. Andrew’s Church with Andriivskyi Uzviz (Descent) that starts from St. Andrew’s Church will impress you with its unique atmosphere etc.

St Andrew's Church was built in Kyiv in 1747–1754 by the Russian imperial architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. St Andrew's Church of Kyiv is one of the city's best known landmarks. The church was constructed to replace the older Church of the Resurrection. The legend says that it was the place where St. Andrew erected a cross and prophesied the foundation of a great Christian city in what was then a sparsely inhabited area. Since 1968, the church has been open to visitors as a museum. The interior showcases sculptures and paintings of famous Russian and Ukranian masters. Occasionally the edifice is used for services of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, a minority Ukrainian church that walled itself off from the Eastern Orthodox Communion.

The Golden Gate of Kyiv is a historic gateway in the ancient city walls of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. This gateway was one of three constructed by Yaroslav the Wise, Prince of Kyiv, in the mid-eleventh century. It was reputedly modelled on the Golden Gate of Constantinople, from which it took its name. In 1240 it was partially destroyed by Batu Khan's Golden Horde. It remained as a gate to the city (often used for ceremonies) through the eighteenth century, although it gradually fell into ruins. In 1982, the gate was completely reconstructed for the 1500th anniversary of Kyiv.

St Volodymyr's Cathedral is a cathedral in the centre of Kyiv. It is one of the city's major landmarks and the mother cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church — Kyiv Patriarchy, one of two major Ukrainian Orthodox Churches.

St. Michael's Cathedral. St. Michael's monastery was founded in 1108 by the sons of Grand Duke of Kyiv Izyaslav Yaroslavovich. St. Michael's Cathedral was destroyed by the times of USSR in 1935 and anew built in 90th after Ukraine got it's independence. Anew built cathedral looks like as it was reconstructed in XVIII century in Ukrainian baroque style. Mosaics and wall paintings were returned to Ukraine and placed in cathedral. Inside cathedral there are unique mosaics and wall paintings which were taken out before cathedral devastation and kept safe in the museums of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
