From Carpatians to Odessa
Lviv – Olesko – Pidhoretsky – Kyiv — Odessa
Day 1. Lviv
Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Walk in the city center. Overnight.
Day 2. Lviv
Breakfast. Panoramic City Tour including St. Yura’s Cathedral (1765), National University Ivan Franco, Lychakiv memorial cemetery. Excursion in the ancient part of the town: Opera House (1900), Market square (16th century), Armenian Cathedral (1370), Dominican Cathedral (1798), Taras Shevchenko’s monument. Free time. Overnight.
Day 3. Lviv — Olesko — Pidhirtsi — Zolochiv — Kyiv
Breakfast. Transfer to Olesko. Visiting the old castle (16-17 century), Holy Trinity Cathedral. Departure to Pidhirtsi and excursion in the castle. Transfer to Zolochiv Castle (17th century). Returning to Lviv. Free time. Transfer to the reilway station and departure to Kyiv by train in the 2nd class.
Day 4. Kyiv
Breakfast. Panoramic city tour including Khreschatik Avenue, Independence Square, Golden Gate, Bogdan Khmelnitsky’s Monument, Opera House, St. Vladimir’s Cathedral and St. Michael’s Gold-Domed Monastery, Kyiv Founders’ Monument. Free time for personal visiting and chopping along Andrew’s Descent. Overnight.
Day 5. Kyiv
Breakfast. Visiting National Architectural Historical Reserve "Kyiv Sophia", including St. Sofia’s Cathedral. Transfer to Folk Architecture Museum Pirogovo. Visiting the Museum where all the regions of Ukraine are represented with the authentical buildings of the 18th – 20th centuries. Returning to the city centre. Overnight.
Day 6. Kyiv – Simferopol
Breakfast. Visiting The Holy Lavra Kyiv Pechersk Monastery including Holy Trinity Gate Church, Dormition Cathedral and Lavra Caves. Free time. Optional visiting Chernobyl museum. In the evening transfer to the reilway station and departure to Odessa by train in the 2nd class.
Day 7. Odessa
Arriving to Odessa. Breakfast. Panoramic city tour including Primorsky boulevard, Potemkin’s stairway, Opera and Ballet House, Duc de Richelieu’s Monument, Alexander Pushkin’s Monument, Deribasivska Street, Dormition Cathedral, Vorontsov’s Palace. Free time. Visiting optional Odesa Catacombs (three layers of sandstone catacombs which form the longest – about 1000 km – man-made labyrinth in Europe). Free time. Overnight.
Day 8. Odesa
Breakfast. Free time. In option: excursion to Belgorod-Dniestrovsky – one of most grandiose fortress in Ukraine; excursion “Literary Odessa” or “Jewish culture places in Odessa” with the visiting museum of jewish community “Migdal”. Free time. Overnight.
Day 9. Odessa
Breakfast. Transfer to airport for your flight back home.
