Vorokhta — is one of the best resorts in Ukrainian Carpathians for tourism. It is a picturesque village, situated at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level, surrounded on all sides by the Carpathian Mountains. You can have a good rest in Vorokhta in summer: a breathtaking nature, mountain rivers and valleys, and clean air. Vorokhta is famous for its favourable climate, with low atmospheric pressure, and high amounts of ozone and phytoncides in the air. The village was founded in the XVIIth century.

A Hutsul capital with a starting point of the rout to the summit of Hoverla nearby. Zaroslyak sports base, located in Vorokhta, is a starting point for hiking route to Hoverla, the highest mountain in Ukraine.
