Day 1: Kyiv
Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Panoramic city tour in the capital of Ukraine and the cradle of Eastern Slavonic states. The tour includes Golden Gates and Vladimir’s hill, which is supposed to be the place of foundation of Kiev-city, Bogdan Khmelnitsky’s Monument, National Opera and Ballet Theater, St. Vladimir’s Cathedral - a splendid architectural pearl, with beautiful paintings of V. Vasnetsov and St. Michael’s Golden Domed Monastery founded in 1108, Kyiv Founders’ Monument, Khreschatyk Avenue, Independence Square - the scene of many notable events in the capital city of Ukraine.
Dinner and overnight.
 
Day 2: Kyiv – The Holy Lavra
Breakfast. Visiting the Holy Kyiv Pechersk Lavra - the Orthodox Christian monastery that is the holiest place of pilgrimage in Ukraine. It was founded in times of Yaroslav the Wise in XI century and is one of the most ancient monasteries in Old Rus. Trinity Church, the Assumption Cathedral (renovated in 2000), the Refectory Church and the labyrinth of the Near and Far Caves, with their relics of saints, are real masterpieces of world architecture.
Boat trip along the Dnipro river (optional). Dinner and overnight.
 
Day 3: Kyiv – St. Sofia’s Cathedral and Podol
Breakfast. Excursion St. Sofia Cathedral - the world famous historical and architectural monument of the first half of the 11th century. The cathedral is famous for its mosaics and frescoes by Byzantine masters. It is the first monument in Ukraine listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Strolling along Andrew’s descent including St. Andrew’s Church – Baroque masterpiece of the 18th century, Richard the Lionheart Castle and Artists’ quarter. Visiting the Podol historical area including Our Lady Pirogoscha Church, St. Nicolas Pritisk Church. Free time. Dinner and overnight.
 
Day 4: Kyiv – Chernigiv
Breakfast. Departure to Chernigiv. Panoramic city tour including Pyatnytska church of the 12 century, the historical places of castle – BorysoGlibskiy and Transfiguration cathedrals, Collegiums, Regiment’s chancellery, Kateryna’s church, burial-mounds on the Boldyn’s mountains, Yeletskiy and Illinskiy Trinity monasteries.
Returning to Kyiv. Dinner and overnight.
 
Day 5: Kyiv – The holy caves
Breakfast. Excursion Zveirynets Cave complex is a unique underground monastery. The caves were discovered in the late XIX century, and then partially reconstructed. Free time.
Performance in the Ukraine National Opera (optional). Dinner. Overnight.
 
Day 6: Kyiv – St. Cyril Church
Breakfast. Visiting St. Cyril Chucrh (12th century). It is the second temple in Kiev after St. Sophia`s Cathedral, which has been preserved in its genuine walls since the times of Kievan Rus. The temple contains 800 square meters of wall paintings of that time inside of it. There are wall paintings of famous Mikhail Vrubel nearby — swansong, the masterpiece of modern epoch. Free time. Dinner and overnight.
 
Day 7: Departure
Breakfast. Free time. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

Day 1 : Lviv
Arriving in Lviv. Transfer and accomodation at the hotel. Tour around the ancient city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Lviv
Breakfast. Mass celebration. Lviv is a very beautiful city with its narrow medieval streets paved with stones, architectural decoration done in different styles preserved in its original form. This is an ancient picturesque city founded by Prince Danylo Halytsky in the middle of the 13th century.  During the panoramic tour you will have an opportunity to admire St. George Cathedral (1765) in baroque-rococo style with unusual ornamental entry, National University Ivan Franco - one among the oldest in Europe founded in 1661, Lychakiv memorial cemetery - most beautiful necropolis in Ukraine, which is rather a sculpture garden or a museum under open air than just a cemetery; High Castle from where you can enjoy the whole panoramic view of the city and surroundings beyond.
Excursion in the ancient part of the town. You will walk through the cozy streets of Lviv where each building is an architectural masterpiece with a rich history. You will discover The Opera House (1900) - an architectural masterpiece with gorgeous paintings and sculptures in the interior; Taras Shevchenko’s monument; Rynok square (16th century) - the heart of the city listed by UNESCO World Heritage Site; Armenian quarter with a splendid Armenian Virgin Mary’s Dormition Church (1370), Dominican Cathedral (1798); an interesting Pharmacy Museum that is one of the oldest operating pharmacies in the world; Baroque style Jesuit Cathedral; the Latin Cathedral and the Transfiguration Church;  Jewish quarter with the remains of the Golden Rose synagogue; etc.
In the afternoon visiting Ukrainian Catholic University (Institute of Church History, Institute of Canon Law, Catechetical – Pedagogical Institute). Meeting with the members of the University at a conference on confessional situation in Ukraine. Free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Lviv
Breakfast. Mass celebration. Visiting Museum of History of Religion in the basements of Dominical Cathedral. Visiting the ethnographic museum of folk architecture and rural life Shevchenkivskyi Gai. Here, on the territory of 60 hectares, museum's creators placed over 120 architectural sites and a bulk of folk life objects, which were brought here from Western Ukraine's various corners. Free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Lviv – Zarvanytsia – Ternopil – Kyiv
Breakfast. Transfer to Zarvanytsia for a pilgrimage trip to a place which is the same in Ukraine as Lourdes in France.
Route to Ternopil. Transfer to the railway station. Dinner. Departure to Kyiv in the sleeper train in the 2nd class compartment.

Day 5: Kyiv

Panoramic city tour including Pyatnytska church of the 12 century, the historical places of castle – BorysoGlibskiy and Transfiguration cathedrals, Collegiums, Regiment’s chancellery, Kateryna’s church, burial-mounds on the Boldyn’s mountains, Yeletskiy and Illinskiy Trinity monasteries. Mass celebration. Return to Kyiv. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Kyiv
