The Ostrich Farm. The biggest ostrich farm in Ukraine is located in one of the most picturesque nooks of the Kyiv region, approximately 1 hour’s drive from Kyiv. The main field territory occupies almost 20 square hectares and an additional 60 square hectares are assigned for fodder growth. Have you ever seen small ostriches? Here you can see Ostriches from newborns to aduts. In the farm there are more than one hundred ostriches. The tour includes a visit to the local zoo where you can observe closely pheasants, ducks and other waterfowl. As an option, lunch can be provided at a local restaurant featuring ostrich eggs and ostrich meat dishes.. You may also buy souvenirs made from ostrich skin and ostrich eggs. |
