Day 3. Lviv – Brody – Ternopil – Chernivtsi

Breakfast at hotel. Departure and drive to Brody, known as the birthplace of Joseph Roth ("Radetzky March") and visit the melancholy Jewish cemetery. Our next stop is Ternopil, once an important trading center with a fortified castle. Late afternoon arrival in Chernivtsi, the capital of Bukovina. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4. Chernivtsi

Breakfast. Chernivtsi has a consistently traditional Austrian feel. On the city tour we see among others, the Archbishop's Palace, the orthodox cathedral and the university founded by the Habsburgs. In the afternoon, enough time to explore the city individually. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5. Chernivtsi – Trip to the South Bukovina

Breakfast. Today we take a trip in the south Bukovina, which was for centuries the reservoirs of many nations. First stop is Radautz, where we visit the oldest stone church in Moldova. Adjacent is the large synagogue, which indicates that the Bukovina was also a center of Jewish life. In the old capital of Moldavia, Suceava, we walk to Demetrius and St. George's Church in the city center. Return to Chernivtsi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6. Chernivtsi - Debrecen
Early breakfast and departure of Chernivtsi - ride through the Carpathian Mountains to Mukachevo - Chop - Ukrainian-Hungarian border.
